Blog Editor Intern
Marketing · Remote (US or UK) · 20 hrs/week · Fall 2026
About the team
The Marketing team is how most people find House AI. We turn real redesigns made in the app into posts, videos, pins, articles and campaigns, and we measure every piece by the people it brings to the app. The team works closely with the founders, the creator partnerships team and design.
About the role
We're looking for a Blog Editor Intern to edit House AI's blog articles so every published piece is accurate, clear and worth reading.
The House AI blog publishes on a steady schedule, and quality has to hold at that pace. You will edit drafts for accuracy, structure and voice, keep the publishing calendar on track and maintain the style guide. You will work with the blog writers, the SEO team, design and the people who publish to the site.
This internship is 100% remote and open to students anywhere in the United States or the United Kingdom. It is 20 hours a week for the Fall 2026 term.
In this role, you will
- Edit drafts: Edit articles for structure, clarity, accuracy and house style before they publish.
- Check facts: Verify claims, figures and sources, and send back anything that cannot be supported.
- Keep the style guide: Maintain the House AI style guide and apply it consistently, from spelling and punctuation to tone.
- Run the calendar: Track every article from brief to publish date and keep the queue full.
- Coach writers: Give writers specific, constructive feedback that improves their next draft.
- Prepare for publishing: Make sure each article has its headings, links, images and metadata in place.
You might thrive in this role if you have
- Current enrollment in a degree program, or a degree finished in the last year. Any major, as long as you can show the work.
- A sharp eye for grammar, structure and consistency.
- Experience editing other people's writing, in a class, a publication or a job.
- Tactful, specific feedback that writers can act on.
- The organization to keep many articles moving at once.
- Respect for facts and sources.
Nice to have
- Experience at a student newspaper, magazine or journal.
- Familiarity with AP style or another style guide.
- Experience with a content management system.
Hours, pay and terms
- 20 hours a week, part time.
- Fully remote. You can be anywhere in the United States or the United Kingdom.
- Unpaid. There is no stipend and no health coverage.
- Perks: a letter of recommendation at the end of the term, course credit support (we sign faculty sponsor forms, take check-in calls with your professor and complete end-of-term evaluations), mentorship, and help with your resume and LinkedIn.
- You get access to the AI tools you need for your work.
- Fall term runs August 10 to December 18, 2026, with rolling start dates inside the term.
- Applications close October 31, 2026.
- Work authorization is not required.
Course credit
Course credit is supported. We sign faculty sponsor forms, take check-in calls with your professor, and complete end-of-term evaluations. Your supervisor is Jeffrey Escobar, CTO.
