Executive Assistant Intern

About the role

The CTO's week fills up with calls, candidate follow-ups, vendor emails and decisions that need a document. You will run the schedule and the inbox, and make sure nothing that was promised gets dropped.

This internship is 100% remote and open to students anywhere in the United States or the United Kingdom. It is 20 hours a week for the Fall 2026 term.

What you will do

• Manage the calendar: schedule calls across time zones, send agendas ahead of them and notes after.
• Triage the inbox each morning, draft replies for routine messages and flag what needs a decision.
• Keep the follow-up list: every open promise, who owes it and when it is due.
• Prepare short briefs before meetings with partners, candidates and vendors.

What we look for

• A current student or recent graduate. Any major is fine if you can show the work.
• You are organized to the point that friends ask you to plan things.
• You write a clean, short email and you are careful with confidential information.
• You are comfortable with Google Workspace and with keeping a calendar for someone else.

Hours, pay and terms

• 20 hours a week, part time.
• Fully remote. You can be anywhere in the United States or the United Kingdom.
• Unpaid. There is no stipend and no health coverage.
• Perks: a letter of recommendation at the end of the term, course credit support (we sign faculty sponsor forms, take check-in calls with your professor and complete end-of-term evaluations), mentorship, and help with your resume and LinkedIn.
• You get access to the AI tools you need for your work.
• Fall term runs August 10 to December 18, 2026, with rolling start dates inside the term.
• Applications close October 31, 2026.
• Work authorization is not required.

Course credit

Course credit is supported. We sign faculty sponsor forms, take check-in calls with your professor, and complete end-of-term evaluations. Your supervisor is Jeffrey Escobar, CTO.
